RESONANCE
21 November - 7 December, 2024
resonance
/ˈrɛzənəns/
noun
the power to evoke enduring images, memories, and emotions.
the quality in a sound of being deep, full, and reverberating.
the occurrence of a vibrating object causing another object to vibrate a higher amplitude.
In physics, resonance is the amplification of vibrations when objects share a natural frequency. In music, it is the lingering hum of a note that fills a room. In art, resonance captures the unseen exchange between the creator, the artwork, and the observer. This exhibition explores this phenomenon in its multifaceted forms—visual, emotional, and conceptual—through the unique voices of the participating artists.
At it's heart resonance is about connection.
